Welcome to UKIP Surrey
About Surrey
This Surrey website provides an overview of UKIP across Surrey. As such, it sits between the SE counties office and the local branches.
Surrey is one of the strongest areas for UKIP in the country, with active branches across the county, and good relationships with neighbouring branches. Surrey is part of the South East Counties which have their own website here. UKIP Surrey operates through an active committee made up of representatives from the local branches across Surrey, and which undertakes the work described below.
As a county, we work together, under the auspices of the Surrey Committee, to share ideas and support the objectives of UKIP within the ancient county of Surrey (including parts of Greater London). We have appointed a number of "specialists", which both the committee and local branches can call upon, in order to offer advice in specific areas. The Surrey chairman can provide further information.
We support local elections, through the Surrey By-Election Campaign Unit, which aims to support local candidates at the time of a by-election in a parliamentary or local council seat.
We also provide support to branches for the regular county, general and european elections, through sharing ideas and materials.
We work with the local branches in Surrey to develop and promote events and public meetings, across the county. Any details of forthcoming meetings and events in Surrey will be posted in brief just below, as well as listed in more detail under the "articles" page.

We initiated the UKIP county newspaper, UKIP Surrey News, and following on from that an additional publication aimed at smaller areas of the county - the UKIP Informer, these formats have now been implemented across several other counties and branches across the UK, and each involves a generous mix of both local and national political news items, relevant to the party, voter's local concerns, and our relationship with the EU. The newspapers are available through members of the Surrey Committee (see Contact Us page) on approximately quarterly basis. You can also view the most recent (online) edition of UKIP Surrey News, in PDF format, here [3.7 MB approx]; and the UKIP Informer (also PDF format) here.
Our ability to succeed is dependant upon our resources, and if you believe in the cause of freedom and democracy and self determination, and are not already a member of UKIP, we hope that you will consider joining us. Together we can achieve more than we can separately. Please consider voting for UKIP next time, and joining your local UKIP branch. You can join online via the links given below - or contact your local branch chairman (see the Contact Us page).
